The Story of My Gin
My Gin is more than just a drink – it is a journey that began in the heart of the Jizera Mountains and the Podještědí region, landscapes that have fascinated me since childhood with their wild beauty and natural harmony. Every sip of this gin is a tribute to the places that shaped my view of the world and inspired me to seek out the best in nature.
The idea of creating my own gin first came to me during one of my long walks in the Jizera Mountains. At that moment, I could smell the scent of fresh spruce tips and blueberry leaves mixing with the crisp mountain air. I realised that these aromas and flavours deserved to be captured and shared. It was a challenge to connect tradition with a modern approach and create something unique.
Every ingredient in My Gin has its significance. Juniper forms the base and connects all the tones. Coriander, angelica, and orris root add softness and depth, while pink pepper and grains of paradise bring a gentle spiciness. Calamus and myrrh lend a mysterious earthiness that carries traces of ancient times.
What truly makes My Gin unique, however, are the regional ingredients: spruce tips hand-picked in the Jizera Mountains and blueberry leaves from the Podještědí region. These components give the gin a fresh, forest character that evokes a feeling of peace and connection with nature. Labdanum and lichen then complete the story with a delicate scent of resin and forest.
Why did I make it?
My Gin was born from a desire to create something that would not only taste good but also tell a story. A story about nature, passion, and the pursuit of perfection. I wanted people to be able to taste a piece of my world – a world where the wild beauty of the Jizera Mountains and the Podještědí region blends with a love for craftsmanship and tradition. Each bottle is personal to me, as if it were a message from nature that I am passing on.
