Philosophy of the Cuisine & Head Chef – Chateau Ctěnice Restaurant

Michal Borovec is an experienced chef working within PYTLOUN HOTELS. He is a member of the culinary team at Pytloun Chateau Hotel Ctěnice and Restaurace Chateau Ctěnice.

He has dedicated many years to gastronomy and throughout his career has gained extensive experience in hotel operations as well as in preparing dishes for hotel and external guests, including social events and group functions.

His culinary philosophy is built on solid foundations – high-quality ingredients, balanced flavors, and a strong emphasis on consistency that encourages guests to return. He views gastronomy as a craft where professionalism, teamwork, and respect for tradition and the place where each dish is created naturally come together.

He sees his role at Chateau Ctěnice as a long-term commitment and an opportunity to contribute to the development of a cuisine that complements the unique atmosphere of this historic venue. His goal is to create an authentic gastronomic experience that highlights the character of the setting and leaves guests eager to return.
